An ultrasonic spray nozzle, also known as an ultrasonic atomizer or ultrasonic misting nozzle, is a device that uses ultrasonic vibrations to produce a fine, uniform spray or mist of liquid. It is commonly used in various industries, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and manufacturing, for applications such as coating, humidification, cooling, and disinfection.
The convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle is an ultrasonic atomizing nozzle with a small spray width. It adopts ultrasonic atomizing nozzle technology and a special contraction flow channel design to evenly gather and distribute the carrier gas, so that the liquid mist after ultrasonic atomization is sprayed in a focused form, thereby reducing the spraying area of the ultrasonic atomizing nozzle. Since the convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle has a small spray width, it is mainly suitable for various small and medium-sized area spraying applications. It complements the RPS-SONIC wide-spray ultrasonic atomizing nozzle and can meet almost all different plane spraying requirements.
Typical applications include fuel cell spraying, i.e. membrane electrode spraying in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, where the catalyst (such as platinum carbon catalyst) dispersion is ultrasonically atomized and sprayed onto the proton exchange membrane to form a uniform and dense membrane electrode. Because the convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle has the advantage of concentrated spraying, it can perform precision spraying in a small range, so the convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle can also be used for surface spraying of interventional medical devices such as drug balloon spraying and drug stent spraying. Drugs such as rapamycin and paclitaxel are dissolved in an organic solvent to form a drug solution, and after ultrasonic atomization by the convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle, the balloon or stent is evenly sprayed to form a uniform and dense drug coating on the surface of the balloon catheter and stent. In addition, the convergent ultrasonic atomizing nozzle can also be used for spraying thin-film solar cells, spraying perovskite solar cells, spraying PCB flux, etc.
