The hand-held sonotrode is designed for manual spot welding (bonding) of thermoplastic materials with ultrasonic energy: knitted, woven and non-woven materials such as: nylon, polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, some vinyls, urethane, filter materials and synthetic blends. The process of ultrasonic welding (bonding) allows assembling of details by using the appropriate ultrasonic frequency, sonotrode and generator. This welding technology is applicable for details that cannot be assembled in any other way or if manual assembling is required. The shape of the sonotrode's tip may be different, according to the requirements of the technological process or the material.
The hand-held sonotrode for ultrasonic welding (bonding) is light and handy, suitable for left- or right-handed operation. It is equipped with simple air-cooling system, which prevents the device from heating and the palm from sweating and this way facilitates the control and precise operation.
